The Federation is renowned within the food industry for organising the most prestigious
unifying events in the frozen food calendar, allowing members to meet on a formal and
informal basis, the most senior decision-makers in the UK's frozen food industry.
The Annual Luncheon gathers together 1,100 key industry figures the majority of which are
senior food buyers.
Annual Awards for New Products - Rewarding Member's Innovation
The Gala Dinner Dance which attracts 720 members and their customers incorporates the
Federation's prestigious Annual Awards for New Products which recognises and rewards
innovation. It provides a major PR platform in both the national and trade press, and
generates sales opportunities for participating members.
The Frozen Food Information
Service (FFIS)
The British Frozen Food Federation has been the driving force behind setting up the FFIS.
The FFIS is a highly professional PR service dedicated to the promotion of frozen foods.
Frozen Foods at IFE'
The Federation organises one
of the "big three" Frozen Food Exhibitions in Europe "Frozen Foods at
IFE". It generates a multitude of new business contacts for the Federation's
exhibiting members.
International Trading Group
To help those members who are involved in exporting or those wishing to do so, the
Federation provides information specifically related to cross-border trading and is
generating a group (now 70 strong) with a specific emphasis on services in this area.
Technical and Legislative - Hot
Line Facility
The Federation provides legal,
technical, and commercial advice on a 'one-off' tailored basis to individual members. We
react promptly and offer a confidential service to each member. The advice is usually
conducted over the telephone followed by written confirmation. Members report savings
running into thousands of pounds by using our 'hot-line' facility.
The Federation also publishes regular circulars reporting on the latest legal and
technical developments affecting the frozen food industry. Members find these publications
a cost-effective way to be kept informed of a wide range of the developments in the frozen
food industry, and to publicise their own company developments via press releases to the
Bulletin.
Sales & Service Promotion
The Bulletin provides an excellent avenue for you to reach a wide audience of potential
clients within the British frozen food industry. The publication is circulated to all the
major retail, catering and private label buyers, as well as further processing and
institutional buyers.
New Members Profile
Each new member benefits from a New Members Profile in the Bulletin. This ensures that the
industry is aware of your company, your commitment to the Federation and the frozen food
industry. The Profile is published free of charge, therefore new members recuperate nearly
half of their membership fee, in the first year.
Arbitration Service
We also offer an arbitration service to members who are unable to resolve a trade dispute,
but who do not wish to undertake legal recourse.
